That’s French Polynesia and it was even more spectacular than I’d dreamed it would be. You will never want to get out of the water here with the 800 unique fish species, coral reefs everywhere, amazing dive conditions and insane snorkeling.

WHY GO

French Polynesia is a must-see. I visited two of them over my 10 days. I spent my time hiking volcanoes, spotting manta rays, learning how to crack open coconuts, swimming in lagoons, feeding sacred blue-eyed eels, and sunbathing on some of the best beaches I’ve ever seen.

WHEN TO GO

The best time is June and August when the climate is at its driest and the weather is balmy. However, this can be a slightly busier time of year and the months either side of this period can see comfortable temperatures, but lower prices.

BORA BORA

LE BORA BORA BY PEARL RESORTS

Only a ten-minute boat ride from the airport and fifteen minutes across the lagoon from the village of Vaitape, Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts combines heavenly location and proximity to the mainland.

The Overwater Bungalows are simply amazing!

I can certainly say that this is the BEST resort which I have ever seen!
